More than a Bucket List: Making Your Dreams, Passions, and Faith a Reality by Toni Birdsong
I thought this review might fall into the whole new year, plans, and goals kind of theme that the world seems to fall into around this time of year.
I'm not going to tell you too much about this book because if I start naming all the things in it that I happen to like, then I will have written the whole book out and that is kind of sort of against the law. I'm just sayin' that I'd rather you go to Amazon and pick up a copy, than write me letters in prison for ten years or have to donate money to help me pay the fine. Cause I am in fact, writing this for your benefit. :)
I liked this book. It gave me several ideas that I had not thought of, like quitting stuff. Yep, there's a whole list of things that it is okay to quit, and I agree with all of them. Live an adventure is another topic, and I wish I would have read this before we made our trip to Yellowstone. I had no clue I could have my picture taken with Smokey the Bear. Now, I must go back!
There are many, many topics and almost every single one made me stop and think. Some of them, I could actually picture myself doing. Others I had to stop and laugh.
The whole book is fun and a fast read, but my favorite part about this book is that it is Christian based. Live Faithfully, Accept God's Forgiveness, and Trust God in Business are just a few topics that jump out at me right now.
Everyone needs to read this book, have it on a self to re-read as a reminder that there are lots of things that should be on our bucket list that we would never think of in a million years.
Thanks Toni Birdsong for this book. I really enjoyed it!
I received a free copy of this ebook from Booksneeze in exchange for my honest review. And Amazon has no idea who I am, I don't get anything if you go there and buy this book.
